House Wrap

House wrap is the replacement for older tar papers or asphalt saturated felt on walls, correctly installed house wrap increases energy efficiency, prevents mold & wood rot eliminates air leaks provides insulation value. It has durability and strength while reducing material waste.

Our wrap, manufactured per customer specifications, prevents rainwater from penetrating and damaging the wall assembly. Its tiny perforations allow water vapor to escape to the outside while preventing moisture from accumulating. We currently manufacture house wrap in widths ranging from 3′ to 10′ and roll lengths ranging from 100′ to 150′.

  • Water Resistance: The primary function of house wrap is to keep water out of wall cavities, preventing mold growth and structural damage.

Durability: Designed with high tensile strength, this durable material resists ripping and withstands extreme temperatures.

Easy Installation: Our house wrap is simple to install, requiring fewer materials than alternative solutions. It includes a detailed manual to guide the installation process.

Cost-Effective Coverage: House wraps offer a cost-effective solution, helping to prevent expensive roof renovations by protecting against moisture buildup and wall cavity issues over time.

Moisture Protection: The wrap is waterproof and resists moisture, mold, and mildew, ensuring a long-lasting barrier.

Air Barrier: It seals exterior cracks, reducing the escape of warm and cool air from the house.

Energy Efficiency: By minimizing air leaks, house wrap helps maintain consistent indoor temperatures, enhancing energy efficiency in both summer and winter.

  • Protect Building Components: Up until the external finish is done, house wrap can shield the underlying components from UV damage during construction.

Control Water Drainage: House wrap serves as a backup drainage plane, letting any water that seeps through the siding securely escape and keeping water from building up inside the wall assembly.

Stop Water Infiltration: The main purpose of house wrap is to stop water from seeping through a building's external walls. It keeps liquid water out and lets vapor through, preventing mold and decay from getting into the building.

Boost Durability: House wrap helps prevent structural damage and extend the life of building components by keeping moisture out.
